Active Opportunities

The Climate-Wise Travel Grant
In partnership with DA Global Access Network

What it is: A travel grant designed to support and celebrate DA Global Access Network members who are making intentional, low-carbon travel choices to attend their annual conference in Minneapolis.

Award: $400 stipend + complimentary conference registration.

Eligibility: Members of the DA Global Access Network.

Deadline: October 3, 2025

The Goal: We believe being “climate-wise” means thinking creatively about how we connect. This grant incentivizes travel by train, bus, carpool, or trip-combining to reduce the carbon footprint of essential professional gatherings.

The Climate-Wise Learning Bonus
In partnership with DA Global Access Network

What it is: To celebrate the relaunch of the DA Global Access Network Virtual Conference and normalize low-carbon knowledge sharing, we’re offering a free course to the first virtual registrants.

Award: Complimentary access to our online course, “Foundations of Climate Justice and Internationalization” (a $355 value), plus an invitation to an exclusive, facilitated cohort in January 2025.

Eligibility: The first 25 people to register for the virtual conference.

Deadline: Registration is first-come, first-served. Conference Starts October 8, 2025

The Goal: Virtual conferencing is a key climate solution. This bonus enriches the virtual experience by providing deep, cohort-based learning on the critical intersection of climate justice and our field.

Climate Justice Global Educators Grant
In partnership with COMPEAR

What it is: The Climate Justice Global Educators Grant is an initiative in partnership with Compear Global Education Network. This grant provides complimentary access to a limited number of course seats for a facilitated group learning and community-building opportunity.

Award: Registration to the Foundations of Climate Justice and Internationalization online course ($495 CAD value)

Eligibility: Global Educators anywhere in the world, commitment to a series of 5 online cohort learning sessions (cohort dates in application form), and an interest in sustainability and/or Climate Justice.

Deadline: October 20 (Fall Cohort), January 9 (Winter Cohort)

The Goal: This first-of-its-kind asynchronous course was created by international practitioners, for international practitioners. Participants will not only complete the course, but also join a cohort-style learning community—meeting regularly to exchange ideas, reflect on practice, and collaborate on real-world applications of climate justice in international education. This program equips participants to lead systems change through innovative and equity-centered approaches.
