I would like to offer my recommendation for the Alethea Global Consulting Cooperative team following their outstanding presentation on the intersection of climate justice and international education delivered to EduNova's staff in September 2023.
From the onset of the presentation, Alethea’s team demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of climate justice in the international education space, introducing ideas and perspectives many of us had never considered before. Their ability to weave the complex topic of climate justice into the fabric of international education showcased their deep understanding and their skill in making challenging issues relatable and engaging without judgment. The presentation was well-structured, well-researched, and sprinkled with real-world examples that demonstrated their hands-on experience and engagement in the field.

On Earth Day 2022, Alethea Global delivered a virtual workshop for Vancouver Community College faculty, staff and students on the topic of Sustainability, Climate Action, and Environmental Justice in Higher Education. I can confidently say that it was an enlightening and impactful experience. The workshop's design was exemplary, with a perfect blend of informative presentations, interactive discussions, and an open forum for questions and dialogue. This holistic approach allowed participants like me to not only grasp the theoretical aspects but also engage in meaningful conversations and brainstorming sessions.
One of the workshop's highlights was its focus on highlighting where climate action fits within the broader sustainability context. The instructors provided clear frameworks that illustrated how climate change issues are inseparable from equity, diversity, and inclusion concerns. This eye-opening perspective challenged us to think critically about our roles in addressing these interconnected challenges within the higher education sector.
